These are two favourites from a recent fall shoot of my kids and their cousins. The photos were taken as a gift for their Grandparent’s Golden Wedding Anniversary on October 7th, and were shot along the Sturgeon River in St. Albert. Happy Anniversary George & Gwen!

Here’s a sampling of Joany & Brent’s favourite engagement images from our shoot in May. Joany & Brent were referred from a previous wedding client, and after our first meet at Sorentinos Cafe I knew they would be fun to shoot. With their wedding planned in the Alberta Rockies, they decided on an ‘Edmonton’ urban themed engagement session. On Saturday evening we hit Strathearn Crescent on Edmonton’s south side – this location offers a scenic park with an outstanding view of the Edmonton city skyline, with the North Saskatchewan River in the foreground.
We met on Sunday afternoon for the second half the session.. and started off at the Alberta Aviation Museum, a location requested by Joany, who happens to fly a plane something like this in her spare time!
Nest stop was Sir Winston Churchill Square… the Fountains behind Edmonton City Hall made for some great images!
The beautiful architecture of the Art Gallery of Alberta makes a stunning backdrop…
We finished the afternoon in Old Strathcona, where Joany & Brent braved a spring shower to get the shot!
